On June 2, provincial Red Cross Association, in collaboration with provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Military Command and localities together with sponsors organized a delegation to visit and give gifts for anti-Covid-19 forces and people in medical isolation, blockade areas in Thu Dau Mot and Thuan An cities.

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of provincial Red Cross Society.
In Thu Dau Mot city, the delegation visited and presented gifts worth VND30million, including necessities, to anti-Covid-19 forces in the medical isolation and blockade areas in Hiep Thanh ward’s Hiep Thanh 3 residential area.
The delegation also visited and donated gifts worth VND134 million to 700 households and forces participating in Covid-19 prevention and control in the medical isolation and blockade area in Thuan An city’s Binh Chuan ward.
Through provincial Red Cross Society, a number of businesses also gave more necessities to the above two areas of medical blockade and isolation. The total value of the support program was more than VND170 million, raised by businesses and donors via provincial Red Cross Society.
In the visiting places, on behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Loc visited and encouraged the spirit of anti-Covid-19 forces as well as people living in the medical isolation, blockage areas, well ensuring the local Covid-19 prevention and control. With its efforts, provincial Red Cross Society has received support resources from units, businesses, donors, contributing to well implementing the local fight against the pandemic. He hopes that with the above integral efforts, Thu Dau Mot and Thuan An cities will soon overcome the epidemic.
