Visiting, presenting gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers

To mark the 68th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2015), provincial Commission for Internal Affairs’ Party cell executive, Trade Union and Youth Union members held a delegation to visit and present gifts to heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Mua, 101, in TDM city’s Hiep An ward.

The delegation extended best regards to the mother while expressed deep tribute to her noble sacrifice for national independence and freedom. Her 5 children laid down their lives to defend the nation.

This is one of activities annually done by provincial Commission for Internal Affairs, thereby educating its staff about revolutionary tradition, patriotism, national pride to enhance their awareness and responsibility; expressing the “When drinking water, remember its source” tradition, contributing to taking care of policy families and those who rendered great services to the nation.

*The same day, leaders of TDM city organized a delegation to visit and present gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers and outstanding policy beneficiary families.

Representative of the delegation extended best regards to Vietnamese mothers and policy beneficiary families while encouraging them to further uphold their elders’ revolutionary tradition and actively promote the local socio-economic development. The city’s Party, government and people have always kept in mind the great contributions of heroic Vietnamese mothers, martyrs’ families, war invalids to the cause of national liberation.

On this occasion, the delegation donated 12 gifts worth VND1.5mln each to heroic Vietnamese mothers and 55 gifts worth VND2mln each to outstanding policy beneficiary families.

*On July 20, the Trade Union of Ben Cat town’s Division of Education-Training in collaboration with schools also visited and presented gifts worth VND10mln each to 8 heroic Vietnamese mothers in the town.
