Vo Nguyen Ngoc An was born in 1984 in a family with his father who is a civil servant with modest salary and his mother who was early absent from work, due to bad health. Being aware of his circumstance, Ngoc An tried his utmost to study and do housework to assist her parent. He was always an excellent pupil during his 12 school years.
In 2003, Ngoc An passed an entrance exam to the HCM City Teachers’ University and then was admitted into the Communist Party of Vietnam. After graduation, he was assigned to work as a teacher of chemistry of Ben Cat high school in the 2007 and 2008 academic year. Here, he was nominated as a secretary of the school’s teachers’ Youth Union and then was vice-secretary of the school’s Youth Union. He was also elected as a secretary of the school’s Youth Union in the 2009 and 2010 academic. Currently, he work as a devoted teacher of chemistry while being a flexible official of the Youth Union of Ben Cat high school.
Aside from learning emulation activities, teacher Ngoc An has also created useful playgrounds like art performance contests, youth forums…for pupils, luring the participation of more pupils and teachers. They have contributed to enhancing the educational quality of the school and have been highly appreciated by school leaders and the higher-level Youth Union.
