*Over 1,800 rural laborers get vocational training
Dau Tieng district’s Vocational Training Center has just joined hands with provincial Center For Vocational Training and Supporting Farmers to open a training course on animal husbandry and veterinary for 130 farmers who are members of the Farmers Associations of An Lap, Long Tan and Thanh Tuyen communes.
During the three-month training course, learners will be taught about basic skills in the animal husbandry and veterinary domain. They will also have a chance to visit effective models in this domain.
*Over the past five years, Dau Tieng district’s Vocational Training cooperated with vocational training centers in and out of the province to organize 79 vocational training courses with many different skills: hairdressing, rubber latex tapping, cooking, veterinary…for 1,822 learners being Youth Union members, demobees, the offspring of poor and near-poor households across the district. Of these, there were 40 training courses on how to tap rubber latex with 877 learners.
It is that all learners were exempted from the full amount of tuition fees and granted the cost for lunch and devices for their learning. According to statistics, among the 1,822 learners, 528 have so far got stable jobs.
