Entering the enrollment season of the 2014 and 2015 academic year, province-based vocational training facilities are urgently preparing material facilities for improving their training quality
To enhance its training quality at industries’ demand, Binh Duong Vocational Junior College has been granted VND15mln from provincial People’s Committee to build a 2,788sq.m workshop for practice and VND3bln for equipment in this workshop in the new academic year of 2014 and 2015.
The school is expected to enroll 3,365 students at intermediate and primary levels for the new academic year. These days, the school has sped up vocational consultancy work for laborers. The school has directly come to Phu Giao, Dau Tieng districts and Ben Cat, Tan Uyen towns to implement its enrollment consultancy. Especially, pupils from TDM city-based secondary schools have also been taken to the school for enrollment consultancy.

In the 2014 and 2015 academic year, Di An Vocational Junior College has been allocated additional 4,000 sq.m, bringing its total area to 8,000 sq.m to build another 11 classrooms. To Chi Tri, Principal of Di An Vocational Junior College said that the school has received more investment regarding material facilities from Di An town’s People’s Committee and provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to well serve its teaching work. Since early this summer, the school has teamed up with Di An town-based high and secondary schools, the town’s Youth Union, Farmers Association and Labor Confederation to organize its enrollment consultancy activities, helping pupils be able to select careers suitable to their ability.
In the 2014-2015 academic year, the school will enroll 400 students in majors of industrial electricity, welding, accounting, mechanism, hairdressing…The school will also link with other vocational training facilities to invest in material facilities, equipment and diversify careers at society’s demand, greatly contributing to training skilled human resources.
Built on an area of nearly 30 hectares, Dong An Vocational College is designed very modernly with enough functional rooms. The objective of the school is to train hi-quality human resources for companies at Dong An 1, 2 industrial parks and others in HCM city, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and other neighboring localities.
The school has so far implemented policies to support students to get loans for learning; considered and awarded scholarships to outstanding students in each segment; exempted and reduced school fees for those with difficulties…The school has also built a dormitory supplying accommodation for 3,000 students with wireless internet service; provided students with part-time jobs…
Along with paying attention to the quality of specific subjects, some vocational training schools in the province will further bring subjects on politics, law and gymnastics into teaching in the 2014-2015 academic year, helping students have a comprehensive development after graduation.
The whole province is now home to 62 vocational training facilities. In the first half of 2014, they enrolled 15,562 students, including 184 at college level, 1,195 at intermediate level, 10,293 at primary level and 3,178 at three-month level.
