In recent years, thanks to good propagation work, voluntary blood donation movement (VBDM) in labor force in the province has widely developed. The movement has become a practical activity expressing the spirit of mutual affection.
Workers eagerly take part in the movement
When Triumph Vietnam Company (Song Than Industrial Park 1) launched VBDM, workers of the company participated very enthusiastically. Every year, the company has more than 200 workers registering for this movement. Mai Thi Hong, Chairwoman of Trade Union of Triumph Vietnam Company, said that to create an expansive effect for this movement, before the blood donation day, the company's trade union actively propagated on meanings and purposes of blood donation to all employees by many forms, like: broadcasting on the company's loudspeakers, posting information about VBDM at kitchens, or at meetings of each factory... Therefore, messages of the VBDM were enthusiastically responded by workers.

Similarly, Trade Union of companies such as: Hai My Company - Saigon Factory, Shyang Hung Cheng Company, Apparel Far Eastern Vietnam Company... VBDM attracted the participation of many workers. Le Thi Bich Ngoc, an employee of Apparel Far Eastern Vietnam Company, said: “I have been working at the company since 2014. VBDM has been launched our company every year for all workers to join”. Ms. Ngoc herself not only actively took part in this movement, but also was an active communicator for this movement. Examples of actual persons, real deeds show that blood donation does not affect our health but also has certain positive effects on blood donor’s body, and is an opportunity to examine blood diseases and improve our health. Ms. Ngoc conveyed a message: "blood given, a life stay" to each worker in the company.
Voluntary blood donation movement develops well
The VBDM among workers has spread not only in some businesses but also attracted thousands of participants each year at VBDM organized by Provincial Labor Union and provincial VBDM Steering Committee. Banners and slogans hung at factories; beautiful pictures of VBDM posted on company bulletins; or beautiful stories of VBDM have made good impacts on workers’ consciousness of blood donation. Hundreds of blood units collected from labor force have helped save many critical cases.
Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Vice Chairwoman of Provincial Labor Federation, said that at present, workers in industrial parks and businesses had no longer hesitation, are willing to give blood to save people. Particularly, business owners created good conditions, resting time, additional allowances for labor force to participate in voluntary blood donation. Therefore, VBDM among labor force has developed extensively. Every worker taking part in VBDM is deeply aware that this is a beautiful and extremely meaningful activity, bringing life to thousands of sick people. More importantly, VBDM helped workers to live for the community, promoting the spirit of "Mutual love and affection".
Compassionate hearts from labor force helped VBDM in the province grow and spread, showing the kindness and responsibility of each individual towards the community. Thereby, bringing joy and hope for patients who need blood, contributing positively to improving the quality of people's health care in the area.
