A voluntary day of the town volunteers starts from 5:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m. their task is to control traffic on routes, help functional agencies solve traffic accidents and help victims of traffic accidents. Image of volunteers in green T-shirts has become familiar with traffic participants across routes. Though shortage of professional skills of traffic policemen, the volunteers have helped raise traffic participants’ awareness.
Volunteer Nguyen The Anh, said “Joining in traffic control, I realize that traffic participants’ awareness on traffic safety remains limited, so youths like us must explain Law on Road Traffic for them”. In addition, the town volunteers have distributed leaflets and pictures on traffic safety.
To create advantages of traffic control, the town volunteer team often holds periodical meetings themed “danger of beer, alcohol with traffic accident”, “Traffic culture”, “Let’s to be cultural traffic participants”.
Monthly, the team’s members gather to discuss their voluntary works. Despite difficulties, the town volunteers have joined in the work and left good impression on traffic participants. Possibly speaking, the small deed has contributed to minimize traffic accidents and help people learn about Law on Road Traffic.
