During the Youth Month 2012, provincial Youth Federation
joined hand with provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union, Sabmiller Vietnam

workers.

This is a substantial activity to step by step improve the quality of public healthcare. Do Ngoc Huy, chairman of provincial Youth Federation said: “This is the chance for us to take care of young workers’ health and also affirms the voluntary spirit of the local youths during the Youth Month”.
The significant program got more attractive when more than 300 young workers were heard of how to treat and prevent some diseases like stomachache, hepatitis and issues pertaining to reproductive health…from Le Van Nhan, deputy director of the HCM city Preventive Health Center.
…to legal consultancy and support
One of the Youth Month 2012’s significant activities was to make law dissemination, provide legal consultancy and support for young workers.
Under the project of “Enhancing awareness of the laws among young workers”, Di An town’s Youth Union teamed up with the Steering Board of the project to organize a lot of programs answering young workers’ queries relating to their legitimate interests and rights at workplace, including policies on salary, social-health insurance…
Young workers were also given vocational consultancy and introduced jobs free of charge. Skills at society’s demand like sewing, dressing, household electronics…absorbed many young workers.
With substantial activities, the province’s Youth Month 2012 contributed to taking care of young workers’ spiritual and material lives.
