Early August 12, the Trade Union of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) in collaboration with the VSIP Charity Foundation under VSIP Joint Venture Company held the 2016 ceremony to award VSIP scholarships worth more than VND100million to 114 poor-but-excellent pupils and students.
Of these, 74 worth VND700,000 each were given for primary school pupils; 25 worth VND1million each for secondary school pupils; 29 worth VND1million each for high school pupils and 16 worth VND2million each for students.
The scholarship program is held annually with the goal of encouraging poor pupils, students with good academic results to further pursue their learning. This year, it is not only for pupils, students attending schools in the province, but also for the offspring of needy workers at companies in the VSIP.
