For the sake of trade unionists
One of highlights done by the Trade Union of VSIP over the past time was to take care of the spiritual and material lives of laborers. The Trade Union of VSIP now has a total of 19,000 trade unionists. There are 201 out of 377 trade union locals with collective labor deals; 100% of trade union locals setting up working regulations and coordinating with relevant departments to organize periodic dialogues…The Trade Union has also focused on on-site legal consultancy for laborers.

The Trade Union of VSIP has always maintained patriotic emulation movements, including “Working well, working creatively” as a focus. The emulation movement has been concretized by contents in line with each field’s feature, absorbing the participation of thousands of laborers. Accordingly, trade union locals have encouraged laborers to bravely uphold technical innovations, initiatives in production-business for better results.
Particularly, the emulation movement of “Upholding technical innovations, initiatives, ensuring labor hygiene-safety and fire-explosive prevention” has been concretized by practical slogans by enterprises to meet their demand for sustainable development and improve working conditions for laborers…
Dang Thi Kim Chi, Chairwoman of the VSIP’s Trade Union said that over the past time, the Trade Union made efforts in taking care of and protecting laborers ‘legitimate rights and interests. In the coming time, the Trade Union and its branches will further boost activities taking care of laborers.
Building powerful trade union locals
According to Mrs.Chi, the Trade Union of VSIP last year implemented the emulation movement of “Innovation, creation, effectiveness in activities of the Trade Union” with collective labor deals signed, useful playgrounds and cultural-sports activities organized, thereby contributing to taking care of laborers.
Upholding achievements done over the past time, the Trade Union of VSIP will further launch the emulation movement of “Improving the operational quality of trade union locals” with the slogan of “Innovation, creativeness and solidarity to uphold collective strength, be determined to successfully carry out Trade Union tasks for 2020”. Emulation contents focus on emulation movements, namely “Working well, working creatively”, “Laborers emulating to improve their skills”…, aiming to mobilize laborers to uphold their technical innovations, initiatives in production-business for better development.
The Trade Union of VSIP will also further instruct its branches to strengthen activities taking care of laborers; take part in building collective labor deals with enterprises with practical provisions in favor of laborers; get involved in the realization of grassroot democracy regulations; organize conferences for laborers and periodic dialogues at enterprises…
