In order to offer opportunities for Binh Duong provincial students, the provincial Students’ Society held an early-year get-together for students.

Opening the get-together, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi briefed young people on local situation on socio-economy. The vice chairman specially introduced a project on cadre training to the participating students.
Specifically, the provincial administration will annually choose about 50 excellent students and pupils to join in the project. Accordingly, about 40 12th graders and 10 students of universities and colleges will be sent to abroad for training and at least 80% of excellent students of the project will be allocated proper jobs.
The project’s purpose is to find out and select cadre source from outstanding pupils and students for planning, training in an attempt to foster them into key cadres at agencies and mass bodies under the local political system.
The participating students raised questions related to the project and policy for local students as well as achievement of educational sector and industrialization and modernization, particularly, scholarship funds, ect. Their queries were timely replied by the organizing board.
Over years, the provincial liaison committee for students is a positive bridge for local students to learn about the provincial policies, projects and programs for students.
To reinforce and develop the “Lighting Binh Duong students’ dreams” scholarship fund, Thu Dau Mot University’s volunteer team held a voluntary spring program to raise funds.
