Binh Duong Forestry Joint Stock Company’s directorate has given support in terms of material facilities, electricity and water for its trade union local to open a trade union supermarket to serve the shopping needs of workers, helping them feel secure to work and stabilize their lives. The trade union supermarket has just been put into operation, making the company’s employees get excited. This is because they only take about half an hour to be able to buy all the necessary items with guaranteed quality and cheap prices at the supermarket.

Leaders of provincial Labor Union and the district’s Labor Union give gifts for employees with difficult circumstances
The Executive Board of Binh Duong Forestry Joint Stock Company’s trade union local proactively proposed and was facilitated by the company's directorate support in terms of material facilities to open a supermarket to sell goods with quality ensured and preferential prices for employees. Currently, the supermarket sells more than 100 essential items with prices reduced by 10%-20% compared to the prices of the same items on the market. In particular, the supermarket was opened to operate in May, practically responding to the Workers ‘Month. In addition, the company has just put an entertainment area, including a mini football field, a 3-cushion carom billiards table..., into operation, contributing to creating a healthy playground for employees after working hours.
At Hai Viet Co., Ltd., in addition to practical care activities for trade unionists and employees, the Executive Board of the company’s trade union local has also mobilized employees to regularly clean and collect garbage in the precinct of the company, thereby further spreading, raising awareness, upholding trade unionists, employees’ responsibility in joining hands to build up a "green - clean – beautiful” company, ensuring labor safety and hygiene.

According to Nguyen Thi Nga, Chairwoman of Phu Giao district’s Labor Union, in response to this year's Workers’Month and Action Month for labor safety and hygiene, the district’s trade unions at all levels have organized many practical activities, including the "Dialogue in May"; the "Workers for businesses, businesses for workers" forum, "Thank for employees" activities. The units have also organized the "Each trade union local, one member benefit"; promoted cooperation with employers to improve welfare and benefits for trade unionists and employees; coordinated in organizing "Culture and sports festival for workers", "Healthcare day" to bring benefits to trade unionists, employees...Particularly, the district’s Labor Union has organized a contest on labor safety and hygiene, attracting a large number of trade union locals, trade unions; visited, encouraged and gave gifts for employees having difficult circumstances, hit by fatal diseases or workplace accidents; organized trade union welfare booths with 30%-45% discounts for trade unionists and employees; honored outstanding employees...
In response to this year's Workers ‘Month, Phu Giao district’s Youth Union has also coordinated with relevant units to deploy such activities as giving gifts for disadvantaged young workers; presenting Kim Dong bookcase with more than 150 titles to lodging facilities with many children of workers; organizing a young workers ‘singing contest...to take care of young workers.
“Through activities of the Workers’Month, the district’s Trade Unions at all levels have better done a task of representing, taking care of and protecting trade unionists and employees’ legitimate rights and interests, thereby creating more attention of the Party committee, the government, the political system, business owners and the whole society to laborers, thereby encouraging them to make efforts to overcome difficulties and work creatively, contributing to the development of units, agencies, enterprises and local socio-economic development”, said Mrs. Nga.
