Warmth of "Tet Reunion- Spring of Gratitude to the Party"

In recent days, localities have coordinated to organize the "Tet Reunion - Spring Grateful to the Party" program to support Tet gifts for workers with difficult circumstances, helping them enjoy a warm Tet.

In Di An city, on January 13, the city’s Labor Union organized the "Tet Reunion - Spring Grateful to the Party" program to support Tet gifts, train tickets, bus tickets and flight tickets to help workers return to their hometowns for Tet. During the program, the city’s Labor Union presented 51 gifts to trade unionists and workers suffering from serious illnesses; 32 gifts to workers injured in accidents or suffering from occupational diseases. Each gift, valued at VND 1 million, included cash and Tet confectionary.

Along with that, provincial Labor Union Standing Committee, Di An city’s People's Committee and Labor Union presented 8 flight tickets and 85 train tickets to trade unionists and workers returning to their hometowns for Tet in the northern provinces; donated 2,500 gifts to workers with extremely difficult circumstances who are not able to return home for Tet; gave 4,000 gifts for trade unionists with difficult circumstances and provided transportation support for 500 trade unionists and workers with difficult circumstances to return to their hometowns for Tet with their families in the northern, Central Highlands, central and southern regions.

As part of the activities to care for workers, agencies and departments in the city have also organized the "Tet meal" program for 500 trade unionists and workers facing difficulties who stay in the city for Tet. This is an annual activity of the city’s Labor Union to practically care for workers with difficult circumstances every Tet holiday.

Meanwhile, Phu Giao district’s Labor Union, in coordination with the district’s Center for Culture, Sports and Radio, organized the opening of the "Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program on the evening of January 12, 2025, in celebration of the Lunar New Year. The event was attended by leaders of Binh Duong provincial Labor Union, along with leaders of Phu Giao district.

The "Tet reunion – Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program for the Lunar New Year 2025 in Phu Giao district attracted nearly 500 trade unionists and workers facing difficulties who are working at companies and businesses in the district. The organization board presented 200 gifts worth VND 1 million directly to workers from other provinces with difficult circumstances; and also gave 3 flight tickets, 6 train tickets and 25 bus tickets for workers with difficult situations to help them return to their hometowns for Tet.

Along with the gift-giving program, the organization board also held a lucky draw while setting up booths offering products with discounts ranging from 15% to 40%, attracting a large number of trade unionists and workers to shop for their families. In addition, cultural performances with the theme of "Phu Giao - Spring of Sentimental attachment” performed by amateur artists, also brought a joyful atmosphere to locals.

The "Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program was organized in localities across the province to promptly care for the material and spiritual lives of workers with difficult circumstances, especially those from other provinces who cannot return home for Tet, ensuring they have a joyful, warm and happy Tet right in their hometown of Binh Duong.

A representative of provincial Labor Union stated that approximately 500,000 migrant workers are expected to stay in Binh Duong for Tet this year. Currently, provincial trade unions at all levels are making efforts to implement Tet care activities for trade unionists and workers with difficult circumstances, with the slogan of "All trade unionists and workers will have Tet". The total funding for caring for workers during the 2025 Tet festival is approximately VND 272.4 billion. Of the total figure, provincial-level trade unions will support around 90,000 to 100,000 workers. Each worker will receive a Tet gift worth VND 1 million, including VND 700,000 in cash and VND 300,000 in essential goods.
