In the morning of January 29, Vo Van Minh, permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Council chaired a meeting to discuss measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the new situation. Attending the meeting was Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing member of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Thanh Truc, Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee and other departments and agencies.
Before the complexity of Covid-19 pandemic, Binh Duong provincial authority has urgently met to elevate the warning to the highest in terms of pandemic prevention
According to Binh Duong provincial Department of Health, regarding infection in the community in Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, and Hanoi, Binh Duong provincial has currently reported 01 case of F2 infection who was exposed to an F1 case in Ho Chi Minh city and has been promptly quarantined. Previously, the Covid-19 anti-epidemic system of Binh Duong province was activated and raised to the highest level of warning. For F1 cases, the department would consider for F0 to be placed in the treatment facility and put F2 to F1 for testing. In particular, the rapid response and mobile anti-epidemic teams in localities will control all cases coming back from the epidemic areas since January 16, 2021.
At the meeting, the Department of Health proposed to the Covid-19 Steering Committee for epidemic prevention to strictly handle the case of not wearing mask in public and temporarily suspend transport and tourism activities to the two provinces of Quang Ninh and Hai Duong. Crowd gathering activities are suspended until the situation is controlled.
Concluding the meeting, Vo Van Minh requested departments, branches and localities to strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures under the direction of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Health. All personnel of political systems and each individual should not be subjective and negligent nor confused but determined to repel the epidemic. Binh Duong provincial Administrative Center has especially closed to guests and limited the maximum level of meetings, the crowding of people, and increased level of warnings. Preparation has been initiated to respond to situations and to tightly manage people returning from the epidemic zone and people entering illegally.
