“Woman’s beauty in the national industrialization and modernization process” is the theme of contest on composing stage scenario and propaganda co-held by the provincial department of Culture, Sport and Tourism and the steering board of Project 4 on the occasion of the 84th founding anniversary of Vietnamese Women Union (Oct. 20, 1930-2014) and the 4th anniversary of Vietnamese Women’s Day.
After 2 months of launching, the contest attracted the participation of more than 15 writers working at cultural centers throughout provinces and cities in the Southeastern and Southwestern regions with 21 works of stage and dissemination.
According to the jury board, the contest well promoted its significance with plentiful and close contents and high educational characters. The scenarios’ contents are close to social real, focusing on urban civilization lifestyle, living environment attached to image of women in the new period.
Besides, there were stage scenarios and dissemination works relating to love, marriage, family and more, highlighting important role of women in the modern society.
Nguyen Minh Xuan, director of the provincial Center for Culture and Movie said that the contest’s purpose is to mobilize authors inside and outside of the province to join in composition of stage scenario and dissemination, creating plays to cater for movements of artistic culture and contributing to dissemination work of mobile propaganda teams in this year and the subsequent years as well as finding out and fostering nuclear elements for the public stage movement in the province.
As a result, the organizing board granted 8 prizes to excellent individuals. Accordingly, writer Thanh Duyen of Tien Giang provincial Culture Center won the first prize of stage scenario while Nguyen Thi Hoa of My Thi city, Tien Giang province grabbed the first prize of dissemination category.
