To effectively implement the campaign of “All people consolidate to build cultural lifestyle in residential quarters”, Tan Hiep ward’s Women’s Union in Tan Uyen town over the past time associated it with the emulation movements of “Building up families with Five No-s, Three Clean-s”, “Building up new rural areas”, “Women actively study, creatively work and build up happy families”. Through periodic meetings, the local Women’s Union also organized a lot of propaganda activities to raise officials and members’ awareness of the significance and importance of the campaign for better results.
Tran Thi Thuy Huong, Chairwoman of Tan Hiep ward’s Women’s Union said that meetings of the local Women’s Union helped raise members’ awareness as well as creating their obvious changes in thought and moral lifestyle. They significantly contributed to promoting the campaign.

The local Women’s Union also attached special importance to mobilizing members to register to take part in building up cultural families; concretized 8 criteria of the “Building up families with Five No-s, Three Clean-s” emulation movement in association with realizing criteria of building cultural families and educating good parenting… As of late 2016, the whole ward had 1,211 out of 1,252 members reaching all 8 criteria of the campaign or 96.7%, contributing to raising the rate of the local cultural families. The local Women’s Union also regularly teamed up with relevant sectors to carry out conciliation, helping members build up happy families.
Along with supporting members to build up happy families, contributing to building up cultural lifestyle in residential quarters, the local Women’s Union also organized numerous competitions, seminars, talk shows, get-togethers for them. All these activities contributed to enhancing members’ awareness, thereby well realizing citizenship rights and duties, upholding their role in family and society; taking part in building up cultural lifestyle in residential areas.
In order to improve the effectiveness of the campaign, the local Women’s Union actively supported members in economic development, thrift practice and sustainable poverty reduction. The movements of “Women helping each other in economic development”, “Women with thrift practice following Uncle Ho’s example”…were implemented deeply and widely among members. Many support activities were also concretized to be line with each member. As of late 2016, there were 33 well-off women offering help of VND27million to 50 needy ones. The local Women’s Union also maintained 25 loan-rotating groups with more than VND63million and 312 members; coordinated with relevant agencies to organize training courses on sci-tech transfer for officials and members…
According to Mrs.Huong, the local Women’s Union will further launch patriotic emulation movements and major tasks; implement the campaign of “Building families with Five No-s, Three Clean-s”, “Women actively study, creatively work and build up happy families” to uphold the role of women in the movement of “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential quarters”.
