On the morning of June 18, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union convened the 11th Executive Committee Conference (expanded) to evaluate the activities of the union and the women's movement during the first six months of the year, as well as to outline objectives and tasks for the final six months of 2025.
During the 2021-2026 term, the association at all levels conducted 213 practical activities and initiatives, amounting to over 9.8 billion VND, benefiting more than 11,700 women and children. Two projects received certificates of excellence from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union. The association launched the "Godmother" program, providing support to 2,297 orphans and children in special circumstances, with the total value of gifts and cash exceeding 20.5 billion VND. Additionally, the Buddhist Women's Association was established under the Provincial Women's Union, marking the first unique model of its kind in the country. The programs "Warm Spring of Love" and "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" were executed by the association with notable effectiveness.
At the conference, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union awarded five certificates of merit to units demonstrating outstanding achievements. The Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee presented prizes to the program supporting women in border areas and recognized collectives and individuals for their exceptional performance in the contest "New Era and Mission of Vietnamese Women - Actions of Binh Duong Women," which focused on writing communication articles addressing social issues related to women. Additionally, gratitude was expressed to the units collaborating with the Provincial Women's Union in various initiatives, as well as to retired and transferred Executive Committee members.
