On August 12, the provincial People's Council issued a written agreement on food support for workers with difficult circumstances staying in Binh Duong province and affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
Accordingly, the provincial People's Council agreed on the policy of providing food to employees in difficult circumstances who are staying in the province and affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, except for workers who are currently working by the terms of “3 on the spot” and “1 route 2 destinations”. They will receive a one-time offer worth VND 500,000 each. Support in the form of food or cash. The offer is valid in August 2021. The provincial People's Council assigns the provincial People's Committee to implement in accordance with current law provisions.
Previously, under the direction of the Standing provincial Party Committee and the approval of the provincial People's Committee, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province coordinated with relevant units and Fatherland Front Committees at all levels to urgently deploy support for the victims who are workers staying at hostels on losing their jobs or postponing working due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province. As expected, the province will help about 500,000 workers staying in the province with a total amount of about VND 260 billion.
This support has shown the timely attention of the province, contributing to motivate and take care of a part of daily life for workers who are losing their jobs, postponing work in motels and staying safe in Binh Duong and well abide by Directive 16 of the Prime Minister and join hands with the province to well implement epidemic prevention and control.
