Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. and the Trade Union of Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG) have just co-held a ceremony to launch the Workers Month 2014.
With the theme of “Trade Union goes along with enterprises’ sustainable development”, the 2014 Workers Month is being implemented by trade union locals of VRG with many significant activities, including launching the patriotic emulation movement through the “Good workers in tapping rubber latex” contest, the “Well working-Creatively working” emulation movement; organizing cultural-sports activities; visiting and presenting gifts to laborers with difficult circumstances…
At the launching ceremony, representative of the Trade Union of VRG donated VND100mln to the “Golden Heart Fund” of Lao Dong (Labour) Newspaper to support the “Sentiment towards Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos” campaign launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor while calling for all staff of the sector to send messages to support the campaign.
The Trade Union of VRG and Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. also presented 20 gifts worth VND1mln each to workers with difficult circumstances and 10 bicycles worth VND1.5mln each to workers’ children with good academic results and having difficult circumstances.
