Workers’ Month 2025 focuses on grassroots level

Today (May 10), provincial Labor Union officially launched the 2025 Workers’ Month under the theme of “Vietnamese Workers Take the Lead into a New Era”. Numerous practical activities will be organized, including the forum “The Party with Workers – Workers with the Party”, the program “Thank You, Workers” and the 2025 Occupational Safety and Health Action Month.

With the theme of “Vietnamese Workers Take the Lead into a New Era”, trade unions at all levels will organize a variety of activities throughout May 2025. These include promoting education and encouraging Youth Union members and workers to enhance their skills and expertise, fostering professionalism and innovation in the workplace, organizing the “2025 Creative Labor Festival” and hosting contests for ideas, initiatives and technical solutions to improve production processes. In addition, there will be a “May Dialogue” program, “Thank You, Workers” activities honoring outstanding workers, taking care of  Youth Union members and workers with difficult circumstances.

Luu Thi Tuyet Trinh, Chairwoman of Tan Uyen city’s Labor Union shared that the unit is working closely with local authorities to carry out various support activities, especially for workers in hardship, work-related accidents or suffering from critical illnesses. Meanwhile, Truong Van Phi, Vice Chairman of Ben Cat city-based Industrial Parks’ Trade Union stated that all activities and resources will be focused on providing the best possible care for the material and spiritual lives of Youth Union members and workers, particularly those with extremely difficult circumstances, due to accidents or serious illness.

Caring for workers, promoting emulation movements for good workers, creative workers, promoting technical innovation initiatives, increasing labor productivity while having practical activities to honor workers, praising typical and advanced examples in labor production, in emulation movements, accompanying the development of enterprises and the province are the contents implemented in Workers' Month 2025. In parallel, trade unions at all levels will organize the “Creative Labor Festival 2025” along with competitions to propose ideas, innovations and technical solutions to improve production processes, save raw materials, fuel, time, labor and introduce new methods and effective models in modern business management. Through these activities, workers with outstanding achievements, creativity and innovations in production will be honored and recognized, thereby promoting initiatives that accompany the growth of businesses and the province.

In parallel, trade unions at all levels will organize the “Creative Labor Festival 2025” and various contests to encourage proposals for ideas, innovations and technical solutions to improve production processes; save materials, fuel, time, and labor and explore new methods and effective models in modern enterprise management. These activities aim at honoring and recognizing individuals with outstanding achievements and innovative contributions in the workplace. At the same time, programs such as “May Dialogue” and “Workers for Enterprises – Enterprises for Workers” forum will also be held, creating opportunities for employers to meet, exchange ideas and listen to trade unionists and workers as they propose practical solutions to improve productivity, enhance business operations and contribute to the development of enterprises and  the society.

During the 2025 Workers’ Month, provincial “Support Fund for Workers with Extremely Difficult Circumstances” will promptly deliver assistance to workers suffering from serious illnesses, workplace accidents, or life-threatening diseases... Over the past time, this fund has proven to be effective, providing timely support to many workers in need.
