In response to Workers’ Month, agencies and enterprises have made greater efforts to hold many significant activities for young workers to help them show up their gift and spur exchanges, making up harmonic relation between employers and employees as well as showing up all level agencies’ attention to local growth.
Plentiful playgrounds for workers
Annually, on Workers’ Month, the provincial Labor Union holds mini football championships for cadres and public servants and laborers. This year’s championship attracts 52 teams including 38 male teams and 14 female ones from labor unions at all levels. The tournament will wrap up on May 31, 2015.
Nguyen Thien Phuoc, vice chairman of the provincial Labor Union said that this year’s tournament would lure numerous laborers as well as accelerate sport and gymnastic movement among local laborers, improving quality of spiritual life for laborers.
To choose members for attending the championship, labor unions at all levels held competitions at localities. Nguyen Huu Nhan from Bau Bang factory just received title of the most outstanding player at Bau Bang district football tournament for laborers. Every year, he waits for participating in the tournament. Joining in the event, he can show up his football ambition and meet with his friends.
Aside from sport activities, music contest is also held by enterprises and trade unions at all levels. Specifically, VSIP has held VSIP music contest. Through the contest, the organizing board chooses excellent items to attend the public artistic contest for laborers.
At Ben Cat town, the provincial Center for Young Workers organized a singing contest for young workers.
Significant gifts
Like the previous years, in this year’s Workers’ Month, workers enjoy not only healthy playgrounds but significant gifts. Especially, labor accident-hit workers enjoy care and vacation held by VSIP trade union. Accordingly, nearly 100 labor accident-hit laborers will enjoy vacation at La Gi of Binh Thuan province. In addition, VSIP trade union will honor excellent and creative laborers and donate gifts to needy laborers’ children.
On this occasion, Di An town Labor Union forwarded gift visits to 12 labor accident-hit workers with the injury rate of over 30%. Every worker enjoy a gift package worth VND500,000. Additionally, Di An town Labor Union organizes the festive day for workers at Di An temple. Herein, workers buy commodities with the origin price, enjoy job introduction and legal consultancy. Responding the Workers’ Month, the provincial Center for Young Workers granted 5,000 sets of clothes for more than 3,000 alien workers living in Binh Quoi A quarter, Binh Chuan ward, Thuan An town.
To ease pain of labor accident-hit workers, the provincial Labor Union paid gift visits to them. Le Minh Tam, labor accident-hit worker of New Toyo Pulppy Co.Ltd. in VSIP I said “In the first period of injury, I felt pessimistic. After a treatment, the company gives me a proper job”.
Through good deeds in the Workers’ Month, laborers’ trust and emulation spirit have been increased. Therefore, young workers enjoy useful and healthy playgrounds held by all level agencies and units and enterprises.
