More than 92% of laborers at province-based enterprises have returned to work after the Tet holiday, contributing to creating an animated working impetus on the first days of the lunar New Year 2013.
At 7:30 am of the sixth day of the Tet (lunar New Year) festival, nearly 9,000 workers with 20 footwear production lines of Dong Hung Group in Di An town began the first day of work after the Tet holiday.
Nguyen Van Le, Deputy General
Direction of Dong Hung Group said that the company saw around 80% of its
workers returning on the first day of work and the figure amounted to 85% on
February 20 (January 11 of lunar calendar). This was because Dong Hung Group prepared
many orders before the Tet holiday to create stable jobs for its laborers.

Despite difficulties, Dong Hung Group has always taken good care of the lives of nearly 9,000 workers with the average income of around VND5mln per capita per month plus many other incentive policies. That’s reason why workers herein have determined to have a long attachment with the company and returned to stably work after the Tet holiday.
Early February 18 (January 9 of lunar calendar), Long Son Co.Ltd. in Tan Uyen district’s Thuong Tan commune saw 95% of its workers getting back work after the Tet holiday. This result came from the company’s efforts in well realizing policies for workers over the past years.
Nguyen Cao Binh, Deputy Director of Long Son Co.Ltd. added: “In 2013, Long Son Co.Ltd. will strive to raise laborers’ average income to VND5mln or VND6mln per capita per month. For stable production, Long Son will further improve its working environment and give good care to laborers, helping them improve their lives for a long attachment”.
According to provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, as of February 20, 2013, most companies resumed operation and the number of laborers getting back to work after Tet was around 92%. Especially, some companies, namely Maruei Co.Ltd., SohwaSG Co.Ltd., Stada Co.Ltd., Tatako Co.Ltd., reached 100% of the number of laborers getting back to work after the Tet holiday.
