Early January 7, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho ward in Thu Dau Mot city, organized a ceremony to inaugurate works in celebration of Party congress at all levels and the 16th Party congress of Phu Tho ward for the 2025-2030 term at Phu Van market.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vo Minh Tien, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho ward stated that in 2024, the People's Committee of the ward implemented a total of 6 new works and prepared to invest in 7 works in 2025, with total planned investment of VND 5 billion. Specifically, in the last 6 months of 2024, the ward focused on completing 7 works in celebration of Party Congress at all levels and the 16th Party Congress of Phu Tho ward for the 2025-2030 tenure, with total investment of over VND 2.1 billion. Of this amount, 2 works funded by the State totaled VND 1.545 billion and 5 works were funded through social mobilization, with a total of VND 565 million.
*On the same morning, the People's Committee of Hiep Thanh ward in Thu Dau Mot city, held a ceremony to inaugurate works in celebration of Party congresses at all levels.
Accordingly, in this phase, Hiep Thanh ward inaugurated 4 works, including the renovation of the park in Block 8, with a highlight being the outdoor stage area; the renovation of the flower garden in quarter 1; the repair of the sidewalk on Au Co Street in quarter 1 and the installation of artistic illuminated gates on Pham Ngu Lao, Nguyen Van Tiet, Nguyen Van Troi, Au Co streets and roads leading to Hiep Thanh 1 and Hiep Thanh 2 residential areas, along with 8 gates in the ward. The total cost for these works was over VND 2 billion, funded by the State budget combined with social mobilization from organizations and individuals in and out of the ward.
*On January 7, Hung Dinh ward in Thuan An city, held a ceremony to inaugurate a newly built bridge on Hung Dinh 01 Road to celebrate the 14th Party Congress of Hung Dinh ward for the 2025-2030 tenure. The bridge has the width of 8.5 meters, the length of over 122 meters with the load capacity of 13 tons. The total investment for the work is nearly VND 13 billion.
