Morning August 17, Thu Dau Mot University held a workshop titled "Architecture and construction towards sustainable development". The workshop was a forum for scientists from within and outside the province who work in the fields of planning, architecture and construction to exchange new research results and discuss critical issues in this sector.
Attending the workshop were Assoc. Hoang Trong Quyen, Vice Rector of TDM University, and scientists, businesses in the province.
The workshop attracted nearly 40 papers with good quality of scientists and experts. Scientific reports addressed fundamental and hot issues posed to the development of interdisciplinary planning-architecture-building in the context of increasingly intense climate change effects.
At the workshop, Assoc. Hoang Trong Quyen emphasized that the workshop results not only contributed to the sustainable development process in Binh Duong and neighboring provinces, but also provided an opportunity for scientists to find more new research ideas. Suggestions, recommendations at this workshop would contribute to stimulating creative inspiration and research activities of faculties and students of architectural, construction, and fine arts of the university; and was a valuable source of learning materials for the training of planning engineers, building architects, and construction engineers of TDM University.
