Early September 22, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy under provincial Department of Industry and Trade organized a workshop on “Cleaner production and energy saving”. Representatives of businesses, State officials in environment, cleaner production and energy saving in the province attended the event.
With achievements done in cleaner production and energy saving between 2013-2015, provincial People’s Committee has continued implementing an action program in cleaner production for the 2016-2020 period and applied solutions on energy saving for enterprises in the province. One of main targets is to have 50% of potential industrial facilities saving 8%-13% of energy, fuel and material consumption level for each unit of product by 2020.
With the set target, it is hoped that the province’s action program on cleaner production and solutions on energy saving will be widely applied by enterprise, thereby bringing benefits to their sustainable development and the community’s living environment.
