On May 10, departments and branches in the province had a meeting to discuss the preparation for a scientific workshop on the implementation of social security policies in the Covid-19 context in the Southern region and Binh Duong province. Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Propagation Education Committee; and leaders of departments, branches attended the workshop.
At the workshop, the delegates agreed on the topic of the workshop: "Covid-19 prevention, socio-economic recovery from the practice of the South and Binh Duong province". The workshop focused on main topic groups, such as: Leadership, directives on covid-19 prevention and control; social security solutions in the covid-19 context; administrative measures to guarantee social order and safety in covid-19 prevention and control; the mobilization of synergy from the political system and the community for disease prevention and control...
The workshop will be organized at ministerial level, the number of participants is about 500 people. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; and Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly’s Delegation, will preside over the workshop.
Speaking at the meeting, Truong Thi Bich Hanh noted the comments from departments and branches in the province. On that basis, the Provincial Party Propagation Education Committee will adjust, supplement and report to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for consideration and approval. It is expected that the workshop would be held in September 2022.
