On Nov 26th, Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with Binh Duong Electric Company and Bach Khoa Solar Energy Technology Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (SolarBK) held a workshop on energy saving project using ESCO model (Energy Service Company). Attendants of the workshop were 200 representatives from businesses in the province.
At the workshop, SolarBK presented solutions using solar hot water according to ESCO model to save at least 60% fuel costs for hot water or heating using electricity. ESCO is specialized in providing full package of energy services, including planning, building, installing, operating, maintaining, optimizing, and financing.... ESCO guarantees customers optimal investment cost, energy-saving results, taking commercial risks while performing energy solutions as well as management functions.
Benefits of businesses participating in ESCO model are no initial investment costs for installing and operating solar hot water system. Saved costs will be distributed to the investor. This model also helps enterprises to use clean energy; increase brand value and competitiveness. On this occasion, many organizations having outstanding achievements in saving electricity and handle violations of electrical safety in 2014 were given certificates of merit of PPC.
