Red scarf on shoulders, Binh Duong youngsters have followed teachings of uncle Ho “Young ages do small things”, studied hard, and engaged in movements and activities to become good children of uncle Ho, future owners of the country, worthy members of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization.
During the last school year, the movement of children small plans in the province has achieved high results, collected nearly VND483 million from selling waste paper and cans, built 3 red scarf houses for disadvantaged pupils having high learning results. Implementing the movement, nearly 3,600 pupils were praised in flag salute for beautiful deeds, like: being dutiful to parents, teachers, returning lost things, helping friends and so on.
To build up and develop the organization, help youngsters to become good persons, good pupils, good members, provincial children have strive for the program “Cultivating knowledge - Sustainable future steps". During the last school year, in order to promote creativity of pupils and enhance the role of each member in self-learning, self-training, provincial Young Pioneer Council has launched many movements and activities, such as: “10-point flower”, “Clean notebook beautiful writing”, “Table of honor – Praising excellent pupils”… These activities have oriented pupils in learning and training. Especially, in recent years, the model “Passionate class” performed by the organization and its affiliates has helped poor children to go to class for literacy and to have a healthy playground.
Mr. Tong Xuan Giang, Vice Chairman of provincial Young Pioneer Council, said: “Through movements, the program has helped to build, and replicate models, activities for youngsters, thereby, providing knowledge, training quality and skills for children. It can be said, youngsters programs and movements in the school year 2013-2014 have corresponded with major political events of the country and province. Many models have been successfully implemented and replicated, creating healthy playgrounds for children, taking care of street children, underprivileged children…”
