The tradition of the Vietnam Youth Voluntary Forces has glorious history pages. Over the past 70 years (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2020), along with the country and the nation, there have been more than 65,000 male and female volunteers who serve in combat, direct combat, labor, and creativity with the spirit of courage and hope, overcoming all difficulties and hardships, successfully completing all assigned tasks.

Glorious tradition
70 years ago with a strategic vision of the role and strength of young people in the revolutionary career, President Ho Chi Minh founded the voluntary force to serve the resistance and national construction. The historic decision gave birth to the first Voluntary Youth Team on July 15, 1950 at Nui Hong, Yen Lang Commune, Dai Tu District (Thai Nguyen Province) with 225 volunteer youths. In the beginning of August 1950, the volunteer team made a ceremony to serve in the Frontier Campaign and made a remarkable achievement, praised by President Ho Chi Minh and General Vo Nguyen Giap.
On March 28, 1951, President Ho Chi Minh visited the 312 Team on duty at Na Cu Bridge, Na Cu Village, Cam Giang Commune, Bach Thong District (Bac Kan Province) and read four poems which are teachings, orienting thoughts and actions for the conscientious forces in particular and for the young generation of Vietnam in general.
Since its inception, the volunteering force has 3,000 cadres and members, but only in a short time in the localities has organized the volunteering teams working in the area, province, city, district and commune to serve resistance activities in the locality. Entering the Winter Spring 1953-1954, the resistance war against the French colonialists turned to a new stage, Uncle Ho directed, "The more the resistance was going, the more and more work we needed to consolidate and develop the voluntary team to ensure ensuring more resistance and training of cadres later ”, so the conspiracy force developed rapidly with 18,000 cadres and members.
Following in the footsteps of the Voluntary Youth Union team to liberate the southern hero in the holy war against the US to save the country, since the end of June 1965, Thu Dau Mot Provincial Party Committee directed the district and provincial party committees to coordinate with the provincial Youth Union. Young people, encouraging young men and women from localities in the province to join the anti-American conspiracy forces to save the country. The youth of Binh Duong today is very proud because in the war against the US to save the country, there were two voluntary teams, the C112 Phu Loi hatred team founded in 1965 and the volunteering team named the heroine Doan Thi Lien founded in September 1967. The two teams stood side by side with the voluntary forces to liberate the South to create glorious feats.
Unite to build
Currently, the Association of Former Volunteers of Binh Duong Province is a common home, a gathering place for 800 cadres and members from all parts of the country, warm and loyal. Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association of Former Volunteers, said that promoting the nature of the voluntary forces, not accepting difficulties, all levels of the provincial association propagandized and supported members to strive to overcome difficulties. , eradicate poverty, build a prosperous life. The outstanding achievements of all levels in the past terms such as cooperation with the interior industry and the labor, war invalids and social affairs sectors at all levels resolved the policy regime for more than 400 members; coordinated with the provincial Youth Union to consider donating over 300 medals and badges of the former Communist Youth Union; contributed more than 1 billion 500 million VND to the Friendship Fund, Piggy Bank Fund to support capital for family members to overcome difficulties and eliminate poverty. The association has mobilized organizations, personally support the construction of 50 gratitude team houses, support for members to repair 10 houses, donate hundreds of million VND through savings books to poor former members of the TNXP, mobilize hospitals for free medical treatment fee for thousands of members. Up to now, more than 90% of the total members are entitled to the policy.
Along with that, the Association always focuses on propagating the revolutionary history for the young generation today about the image of the conspiracy to fight with courage, heroic sacrifice, dedicating the beautiful youth to the young country of Vietnam. All levels of association with the Youth Union in the province organize talks, gatherings, forums on history with stories, battles, feats and the spirit of "Deciding on the determination of the fatherland", indomitable martyrs, resilience for national independence. On the other hand, the association also cooperates to organize youth union members to come back to the source of "red addresses", historic historical works of the Central Highlands in order to foster revolutionary ideals and educate the homeland and the country for children.
