With the passion for martial art and the hope of uniting and orientating an active lifestyle for young workers, Ly Minh Thi, together with some friends from Binh Minh Young workers union branch, constituted a martial art class for free on every Sunday morning. Though the class officially began in the middle of December, it has now over 20 young members.
Being away from hometown for job like other young members, Thi and friends are reaching maturity on union branch’s activities and martial art learning. According to Thi, the class facilitates an exercising place for youths, and contributes to the mission of uniting youths.
Nguyen Thi Huyen coming from Nghe An said: “I am really interested in martial art practicing for a better health, but I could not afford it. After knowing about this class, I registered at once. Thanks to the class, I had more friends, can do physical exercises and participated in union branch’s activities.”
Through the martial art class, Binh Minh Young workers union branch has united many more members with union’s activities and marked a practical, sound social model.
