After 94 years of training and development, inheriting the glorious historical traditions of the nation, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has continued to grow under the leadership of the Party and the beloved Uncle Ho. Throughout these years, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and generations of Vietnamese youth have consistently contributed to and built upon these glorious traditions.
Pioneers
During the process of leading the revolution, President Ho Chi Minh and our Party always paid attention to the role and historical mission of Vietnamese youth. At the 3rd National Congress of the Youth Union, it was decided to take March 26, 1931 as the founding date of the Youth Union. Since then, March 26 every year has become the glorious traditional day of Youth Union and Vietnamese youth.
Over the past 94 years, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and generations of Vietnamese youth have built a legacy of remarkable traditions. These include a strong sense of patriotism, a deep commitment, and unwavering loyalty to the Party, the people, and the socialist regime. They have also established a tradition of being a pioneering revolutionary force, willing to take on challenging tasks, venture into difficult areas, and think creatively to accomplish their assignments. Furthermore, there is a tradition of diligence and a thirst for knowledge aimed at enhancing one’s qualifications in political, cultural, social, scientific, technical, managerial, and military fields, as well as a passion for creativity in practical activities.
In the new era - the era of national growth, science - technology and digital transformation are key development drivers. The Party and State have issued many policies and guidelines to promote this spearhead, notably Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, with its inherent pioneering spirit, needs to take on a pioneering role in implementing digital transformation, improving science and technology, encouraging creative start-up movements; creating a favorable environment for young talents to develop their potential, research and deploy technical solutions to serve the community.
Proud to follow
The youth of Binh Duong, like the youth across the entire country, take great pride in the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. In honor of this tradition, Youth Unions and youth movements in the province align closely with political tasks and practical needs of the local community and continuously innovate their operational content and methods. As a result, there have been many positive changes in the work of building Youth Union, Youth Federation, and Young Pioneers, spanning from the provincial level down to the grassroots; the quality of solidarity and gathering of young people in residential areas, in enterprises, agencies and schools has been improved.
Youth Unions at all levels regularly train and recommend outstanding members for consideration and admission by the Party; mobilize and connect social resources to care for children and youth; and at the same time carry out projects and tasks of Youth Union together with building new rural areas and building a cultural and civilized urban lifestyle... For many years, Youth Union, Youth Federation, and Young Pioneers of the province have consistently upheld their excellent reputation.
Young people always demonstrate their pioneering spirit in all fields, especially science and technology, digital transformation and innovation. In 2025, Provincial Youth Union will focus on effectively implementing support activities in response to emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses"; effectively implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union, said: “As we enter a new and promising era of development, Youth Union at all levels in the province must make greater efforts to enhance their content, choose effective operational methods, and stay in tune with the ideological landscape of young people. Additionally, the Youth Union should actively promote patriotic emulation movements across all fields, encouraging young people to embrace bold thinking, strive for excellence, and face challenges and setbacks without fear. Furthermore, it is essential for young individuals to proactively equip themselves with scientific and technological knowledge, nurture their creative aspirations, and foster a spirit of dedication to the community"...
To build a brighter future and contribute to national development, members of Youth Union must train themselves to the best of their ability. In addition to actively acquiring knowledge and integration skills, they should continuously strengthen their political resolve, willpower, and determination to overcome challenges. They need to immerse themselves in social reality with the mindset that "Determination leads to success”. |
