Dau Tieng district’s Youth Unions at all levels in 2013 have upheld their voluntary spirit and taken the lead in many practical and significant youth movements.
Particularly, the district’s Youth Union at all levels grew nearly 1,200 green trees; cleared 12km of roads, well controlled over more than 10km of “road self-managed by the youth”. The district’s Youth Union also presented 10 wastebaskets to its affiliates with the goal of building up an environmentally friendly habit among Youth Union members and locals, contributing to building up a civilized lifestyle in residential areas…
Nguyen Thi Bich Van, Secretary of Dau Tieng district’s Youth Union said that the district’s Youth Unions at all levels have continued promoting voluntary movements for the sake of the community in 2013. Reportedly, they set up 18 voluntary youth squads on environmental protection with 247 Youth Union members getting involved in such significant activities as clearing canals, collecting rubbish, mobilizing locals to respond to the campaigns “Voluntary Saturday”, “Green Sunday”…
