Youth leadership and commitment

In alignment with the provincial Youth Union Standing Committee's initiative to concurrently organize "Youth Action Day" in anticipation of Party congresses at all levels, the Youth Union in the province has developed numerous programs, activities, and practical tasks.

In response to "Youth Action Day," Tam Lap Commune Union in Phu Giao District organized the distribution of gifts to families benefiting from government policies.

To foster pride

Consequently, all Youth Union branches in the province participated in the “Youth Action Day.” These branches made a significant impact through programs and activities that fostered national pride and exemplified the dedication of the younger generation.

To educate young individuals, the Hiep Thanh Ward Youth Union (Thu Dau Mot City) organized a journey to the source in observance of "Youth Action Day" in Dat Do District, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. During this journey, youth union members paid their respects by offering incense and flowers at the temple and monument dedicated to the heroic martyr Vo Thi Sau. Additionally, the Ward Youth Union facilitated political activities, reflecting on the heroic and illustrious historical legacy of the Communist Party of Vietnam while also studying the life and revolutionary contributions of martyr Vo Thi Sau. This journey to the source program instilled a sense of patriotism and inspired the spirit of volunteerism among youth union members.

The youth of Thu Dau Mot City, along with the District and City Youth Unions, as well as all Youth Union bases in the province, have organized activities for local youth union members to engage in initiatives that honor the past at designated "red addresses." These efforts include mobilizing to clean martyrs' monuments and visiting families of policy beneficiaries and individuals with revolutionary contributions, thereby expressing gratitude to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the revolutionary cause. Additionally, the grassroots Youth Union has conducted political activities, discussed traditions, and inspired the spirit of young individuals preparing to enlist in the army in 2025. This fosters a culture of enthusiastic youth competition, labor production, and the promotion of patriotic traditions.

With the engagement and involvement of the entire Union and a significant number of young individuals in the province, the pioneering spirit and momentum will be invigorated, ushering in a vibrant spring of youth.

To promote the ethos of volunteerism

A common activity among young people is community and social security volunteering, which is undertaken with enthusiasm and practicality by the Youth Union at various levels.

In Phu Giao district, over 1,000 youth union members have engaged in various projects and activities. Notably, the district and commune-level Youth Unions have visited and presented gifts to families with meritorious services, young workers, and individuals facing hardships; initiated urban beautification campaigns; cleared and cleaned rural roads and alleys; and awarded scholarships to students who have surmounted challenges to excel in their studies. This series of activities and initiatives has provided significant benefits to the youth union members. Young people have played a vital role in enhancing the beauty and warmth of the community.

The spirit of youth competition in anticipation of the Party Congress at all levels permeated the province, extending from rural to urban areas and galvanizing youth groups to engage. Delegations from the provincial to grassroots levels undertook various activities, including visiting union members enlisted for military service in 2025, maintaining and tending to youth gardens, refurbishing children's playgrounds, and visiting young workers residing far from their hometowns under challenging conditions to present gifts.

Mr. Nguyen Huynh Nguyen Vy, Secretary of the Bau Bang District Youth Union, stated that the District Youth Union and its branches are committed to volunteer activities in observance of "Youth Action Day." This initiative showcases the pioneering and volunteer spirit of the district's youth while fostering a collective dedication alongside the youth of the entire province, thereby contributing to the development of Binh Duong.

Ms. Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, stated that each Youth Union unit tailors its initiatives to the specific circumstances of its locality. In particular, the District and City Youth Unions, along with affiliated Youth Unions and vocational units, prioritize the enhancement of education regarding revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyles for young individuals. They organize activities that foster the spirit of volunteerism and creativity among youth, engage in socio-economic development, contribute to the construction of new rural areas, promote a civilized urban lifestyle, and advocate for environmental protection and climate change mitigation. Furthermore, it is essential to bolster the dissemination of legal knowledge among young people, particularly concerning drug prevention and control, traffic safety, and maintaining security and order. Concurrently, they should undertake social security initiatives and participate in digital transformation efforts.
