Youth Month 2012 has the theme of “Binh Duong youths join hands to build new rural areas” and includes 4 key contents encompassing youth care and development, thought and political education for youths, improvement of quality of youth unions and social welfare activity.
At the ceremony, youths unions across districts and townships also pledged to excel Traffic Safe Year 2012.
Huynh Van Nhi, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee cum head of the steering board of the provincial Youth Month 2012 steered that the steering board of the Youth Month 2012 should spur patriotic emulation movements and promulgations on history and tradition of youth union, promote voluntary and creative spirit on all areas, excel the movement of “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples”.
On the occasion, the provincial Youth Federation Committee supported expenses of building charity houses for 2 poor youths in Tan Vinh Hiep commune and Uyen Hung township. After the ceremony, youths and unionists and students joined in a parade to promulgate on traffic safety and launched “Green Sunday” campaign.
