On the morning of May 28, the Standing Committee of Binh Duong provincial Youth Union held the ceremony launching the provincial Youth Volunteer Campaign in the summer of 2023 in Thuong Tan commune of Bac Tan Uyen district. At the ceremony, the provincial Youth Union established a Steering Committee for the provincial Youth Volunteer Campaign in the summer of 2023. This year's campaign has the theme of "Binh Duong Youth pioneers digital transformation application in volunteer activities for the community" to be deployed along target lines of 1 program and 4 campaigns.
During the ceremony, the provincial Youth Union launched 10 campaign volunteer squads to support exmaination and school starting days, to volunteer for the summer and children pioneers’ movements, to implement the Pink Holiday campaign among young workers, to foster youth volunteers for the Green March campaign, to organize movements for the motherland's sea and islands and the country's border, to conduct international volunteering in Cambodia, to transferring science and technology through young intellectuals, to install VNID for digital transformation, to encourage young doctors for public health, to act for urban civilization, to improve new rural areas, and to protect the environment.
On the occasion, the Standing Committee of the provincial Youth Union and the Campaign Command received the project of 500 volunteer youth shirts given by Mobifone Binh Duong. The provincial Young Doctors Association offer 1,000 sessions of free medical examinations and medicine distribution. Besides, Bac Tan Uyen district Union received a charitable house worth VND 80 million donated by the grassroots delegation of Bao Viet Binh Duong Company and Hiep Loi Automobile Co. Ltd. At the same time, the project of youth repairing 1 house for young people in difficult circumstances worth VND 30 million was awarded by LGL Consulting Co. Ltd. The provincial Youth Union also awarded 10 scholarships and 10 bicycles to children who overcome difficulties to study well in Bac Tan Uyen district.
After the ceremony, volunteer activities took place to include visits and gifts given to 5 socially priviledged families and people with meritorious services to the revolution. The squads "On Green Sunday” and the squads of 3-color uniform opened canals in the area of Thuong Tan commune. Visits are made to and gifts are given to the Compassionate Center for Orphans and Elderly. Construction of the House of Kindness is commenced. Home repair starts for young people in difficult circumstances. The work of lighting up the country road is inaugurated. Visits are made to 2 models of young people who are good at production and business operatons. 200 sessions of medical examinations with free medicine distribution to people in difficult circumstances are held. A youth project to support the digitization of historical relics in the district is launched along with planting of 100 trees.
