*Provincial Youth Federation has just teamed up with Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union to hand over a compassion house to the family of Ha Thi Phuong in Uyen Hung township.
The 46sq.m house has a total cost of VND85mln, including VND30mln from provincial Youth Union. During the Youth Month 2012, provincial Youth Union also built two compassion houses for two needy youths in Tan Vinh Hiep commune.
*Dat Cuoc commune’s Youth Union in Tan Uyen district held the second festive day for Vietnamese youths with the participation of 10 teams.
The festival day took place animatedly with folk games and sporting exercises. Finally, the organizing board presented four first prizes, three second prizes and one third prize to excellent teams at the event.
*In celebration of Vietnam Sports Day, Tan Vinh Hiep commune’s Youth Union in Tan Uyen district held the second football tournament with the participation of 9 teams.
Finally, first prize went to the Youth Union branch of Vinh Truong hamlet, followed by the alliance of the Youth Unions of State agencies-military-police force and the lodging sub-union of Mrs.Dieu Huong, respectively.
*Under the “Clean and green Sunday” movement, more than 150 Youth Union members of Binh Chuan ward in Thuan An town collected waste on streets self managed by youths with a total length of more than 1,500m.
