Oriented by the central committee of Youth Union on realizing the decision on helix connection or the connection of forces, localities, and communities, the summer volunteer campaign of the youths in 2023 has been directed by local Youth Union to enhance the connection for the efficiency of the activities conducted by the grassroots.

Forces, localities and communities linked
The policy of helix connection is the organization of force linkage of youth union members and police, military, workers, women, farmers, and the public in the area while linking geographical areas between urban and rural areas to bring resources from urban areas to support localities facing tremendous difficulties. Community links between Youth Unions, Associations, clubs, pioneers, and groups at all levels and religious organizations, individuals, voluntary organizations are all to promote the spirit of volunteering of youth union members in local socio-economic construction and development.
Implementing policy in this year's summer volunteer youth campaign, the provincial Military Command coordinated with the Youth Union of the provincial Police, Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company, Tan Hung Commune Union from Bau Bang district organized the campaign of "Green march". Accordingly, the units have coordinated to carry out many meaningful works such as giving gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers and socially privileged families in Tan Hung and Tan Binh communes of Bac Tan Uyen district, giving gifts to ethnic minority families, poor but studious students with extremely harsh circumstances at Tan Hung Rubber plantation, and free haircut for people.
Meanwhile, many other units have organized the "Alliance of 3 shirt colors" between the army, police and youth union. Typically, the Youth Union of the provincial Police, Thuan An Youth Union and the 100th Guards Battalion of Army Corps. 4 have coordinated to carry out many meaningful works and tasks in An Thanh ward of Thuan An city. Youth project of "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe route" was with the concreting of the 300m-long route and the installation of 4 solar lights. In addition, 3 units also repaired 2 houses for socially privileged families in the area.
Previously, the Youth Union of the provincial Police also cooperated with Thuan An Youth Union to carry out the program of "Gratitude Day – the Red Journey" with many meaningful activities to show gratitude to the relatives of martyrs and their meritorious families and traditional education for the younger generations. The Youth Union of the provincial Police also organized the program of "Weekend to the grassroots" to strengthen 300 officers, soldiers and youth union members to support the police of 10 communes and wards in Thuan An city to install and activate e-identity accounts at level 2 under Project 06 for the public.
Creative and practical
One of the units promoting the policy of helix connection is the provincial Union of Agencies and Enterprises. During this year's summer youth volunteer campaign, they have actively coordinated with units to carry out many meaningful projects as in collaboration with the Bac Tan Uyen district Union and the grassroots branch of Bao Viet Binh Duong Company to donate a charity houses, in coordination with the grassroots delegation of Binh Duong Customs Department and Ben Cat town to inaugurate a children's playground, in coordination with Emulation Cluster No. 5 and Phu Giao district Youth Union to carry out the works in "The peak day of volunteer soldiers to build new countryside". At the same time, the Youth Pioneers of the Youth Union joined the provincial team to carry out many meaningful works, tasks and activities, leaving many impressions and good feelings in localities outside the province such as Phu Quy island district in Binh Thuan province, Ben Tre province, Dak Lak among others.
Bien Tuan Vu, Secretary of the provincial Union of Agencies and Enterprises, said that the 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign deployed by the Youth Union has achieved several results on the basis of continuing to persist in the view of increasing professionalism in movement activities, implementing the model of “For local friends” to promote synchronous digital transformation in all aspects of the Union's work. In particular, the Union focused on implementing the helix connection policy and achieved impressive results.
“It can be said that this is a new, creative and very practical policy, helping the Youth Union at all levels to actively coordinate in organizing activities, mobilizing resources ato encourage youth union members to participate in many activities and bring great values,” said Vu.
Nguyen Thanh Thao, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, Chairwoman of the provincial Youth Union, said that with the sense of responsibility and volunteering of the youths, the Youth Union at all levels in the province have deployed and organized many activities, works and sections with key contents. At the provincial level, the provincial Youth Union has deployed many formations on many fronts inside and outside the province. The total value of works and tasks within the framework of the campaign in the province so far is estimated at about VND 3 billion.
