President Ho Chi Minh and our Party in the process of revolutionary leadership are always interested in the role and mission of Vietnamese youth. Immediately after the Communist Party of Vietnam was born, clearly seeing the importance of building Union organizations, in March 1931, the Party Central Committee decided that Party committees from Central to local level had to immediately appoint the Party Committee. With the consent of the Politburo and Uncle Ho, at the request of the Central Standing Committee of the Vietnam Labor Youth Union, the 3rd National General Assembly decided to take on March 26, 1931 as a city setting up the Union. In the cause of national renewal, from the movements such as "Youth to establish a career", "Youth to keep the country", and "5 strikes for socio-economic development and national defense", youthful creativity, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organized for young people to lead in innovation, labor emulation, study, master science and technology; volunteering for community life; contributing to maintaining political security, ensuring social order and safety, protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
Promoting that tradition, the Youth Union and the youth movement of Binh Duong province today adhere to the local political tasks and practical situation. The activities of the Union focused on educating the ideal of revolution, lifestyle and culture ethics for children; promoting the activeness, creativity and aggression of youth union members participating in local socio-economic development, volunteering for the community, volunteering to go on the road and protect the Fatherland. The construction of Union - Association - Team has many positive changes from the grassroots to the province, improving the quality of uniting young people in the area of population, businesses, agencies and schools; mobilize and connect social resources in taking care of the youth, works and work of the Union in association with building a new countryside and building a cultural and urban civilized lifestyle. In 2018 alone, the Provincial Standing Committee of the Youth Union has effectively implemented 6 provincial-level youth projects, meeting three criteria: Being able, able, organized and practical. Specifically, the project "For the border and island love" is implemented by the Provincial Youth Union and its attached units with a total budget of 2 billion VND; new construction works, upgrading and repairing 27 points (total value of VND 464 million), existing activities and amusement parks in residential areas to serve children, especially children of young workers ; the project awarded 55 houses for disadvantaged youth and children with a total budget of nearly 3 billion VND; The work involved in the construction of new rural and urban civilization with a total implementation cost of 8.76 billion VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said: “The levels of the Union - Association - Team in the province continue to perform well the directions and tasks in 2019, aiming at long-term volunteer activities, at place, promote technology application in activities and organize activities, political activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's testament (1969-2019).
