In the morning of June 6, Bac Tan Uyen district Youth League held the launching of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2021 at the following units including Tan Thanh town at Dat Cuoc commune, Hieu Liem commune, and Tan My commune.
During the opening ceremony, the youth union members of the units carried out propaganda on the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control. More than 1,000 medical masks have been given to people. 200 keychains and 3,000 leaflets to propagate epidemic prevention and control measures have been given out.
The district Youth’s League also mobilized businesses to donate 500 boxes of drinking water to increase resistance for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control. They have also simultaneously launched the project of "bright - green - clean - beautiful" to participate in cleaning, clearing, planting 100 flowers, removing classified ads on the roads and propagating people to protect the environment.
On the same day, the district Youth’s League organized the program of "Leaders of the Party, People's Council and government acting for children in 2021" for joined hands to ensure the implementation of children's rights in response to Action Month for Children. The organization also gave 15 photos of President Ho Chi Minh to children to implement the model of "Hanging President Ho Chi Minh's photo in a solemn place in the family" as part of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
On this occasion, the district Youth’s League organized a drowning prevention training program for children and organized the "Journey of patriotism" by supporting youth union members' households to repair houses due to tornadoes at the amount of VND 8 million.
