In accordance with the directives of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Prevention of Smuggling, Trade Fraud, and Counterfeit Goods (Steering Committee 389), the Tan Uyen City Steering Committee 389 has, from 2024 to the present, collaborated with relevant agencies, departments, and branches. Market Management Team No. 4 has conducted inspections on 3,356 cases, leading to the identification and resolution of 2,685 violations. The total value of the infringing goods amounts to 58,480,000 VND. The inspection team has opted to temporarily seize these goods and transfer them to the warehouse of Market Management Team No. 4 for safekeeping, pending further legal proceedings.
Anticipating that the issues of smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods will persist in their complexity in the near future, Market Management Team No. 4 will enhance its collaborative efforts in combating these challenges, particularly within the realm of e-commerce. The team will facilitate the signing of commitments to refrain from trading in counterfeit, smuggled, or substandard goods and will rigorously address instances where parties violate these commitments despite their signatures.
