Businesses and production establishments in the province are implementing various strategies to stimulate demand and adapt their business methods. These include promoting trade activities both locally and beyond, alongside leveraging e-commerce. These efforts aim to enhance consumer awareness and encourage the preference for Vietnamese goods.

Seize the opportunity
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang, Director of the Center for Trade Promotion, Tourism, and Industrial Development (Provincial Department of Industry and Trade), announced that the industry and trade sector hosted a Vietnamese goods fair themed "Fruit Festival" at Aeon Mall Binh Duong Canary Shopping Center. This event aims to help businesses and production establishments showcase specialty fruits and typical agricultural products from the province to consumers, tourists, and trade partners. It facilitated the promotion and branding of OCOP (One Commune One Product) items, as well as products recognized as typical rural industrial goods from Binh Duong province, targeting both domestic and international markets. The fair also provided opportunities for agricultural producers and suppliers in the province to connect and exchange experiences, thereby enhancing productivity, product quality, and competitiveness to meet domestic consumption and export demands.
Additionally, organizing a Vietnamese goods market allows businesses and production entities within the province to engage with domestic and international distribution units, forming a sustainable consumption chain. This initiative creates direct connections between farmers, cooperatives, businesses, and consumers, helping to reduce intermediaries and increase income for producers. “This is also a chance for production units to raise consumer awareness, focusing on clean, safe, and traceable models; aiming to develop a production approach linked to processing, preservation, and consumption, ensuring products reach consumers with stable quality and reasonable prices,” said Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang.
Mr. Vu Minh Duong, Director of Phu My A Food Production and Trading Company Limited, shared that the company specializes in producing spring rolls, sausages, and rice cakes from meat and sticky rice, supplying the market for many years. The company regularly participates in trade promotion programs to introduce its products to a wide audience. It carefully selects raw materials to guarantee quality, which has earned the trust of many customers. To enhance its product offerings, the company has invested in modern equipment and technology, acquired production experience, and formed stable partnerships for raw materials, leading to the creation of safe products. It has also expanded its connections to promote consumption both within and outside the province.
In recent years, Phu My A Food Production and Trading Company Limited has focused on product improvement and brand development while expanding its market reach nationwide. The company introduces its products through direct local sales, seminars, trade promotion fairs, and e-commerce platforms. “We participate in all trade promotion events and programs organized by provincial departments and branches. These opportunities are valuable for us to showcase our products. Additionally, our offerings are posted and promoted on e-commerce websites, making it easier for consumers to access and purchase them. By utilizing various sales strategies, we have significantly increased customer trust and popularity; compared to 2024, our customer base has tripled at this time,” Mr. Vu Minh Duong concluded.
Innovation in business practices
According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Quyet, Director of Kim Long Melon Cooperative, trade promotion activities, training programs, promotional guidance, and online sales have enabled businesses to learn, access, and enhance their product offerings, resulting in improved product consumption efficiency. It is essential for enterprises and production establishments to ensure a consistent supply of raw materials and invest in producing high-quality products that meet sales channel requirements. Additionally, support from relevant agencies plays a crucial role in fostering a strong and sustainable connection between businesses and consumers. Production and business establishments in the region have gradually redefined their approaches to business, adapting to new market conditions, which has led to increased business efficiency.
Ms. Tang Thi Hang, Director of Hieu Hang Company Limited, stated that her company participates annually in trade promotion programs organized by local authorities. To enhance the consumption of local products, many enterprises, cooperatives, and production units are expanding beyond traditional sales channels. They are now engaging in trade promotions, online introductions, and collaborating with specialty stores, convenience stores, and supermarkets both within and outside the province. The company also actively livestreams and interacts with customers and distributors across various locales.
“We hope that all levels of government and sectors will support enterprises and cooperatives in focusing on domestic market development with mottos: ‘Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods’ and ‘Vietnamese goods conquer Vietnamese consumers.’ It is vital to promote and advertise brands, celebrate high-quality products, and support agricultural goods produced according to organic standards and in line with circular agriculture. This approach will positively impact production, processing, and consumption in a sustainable, high-tech manner,” suggested Mr. Nguyen Van Tien, Director of Dan Tien Cooperative.
Ms. Phan Thi Khanh Duyen, Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, noted that in recent years, the department has implemented various solutions aimed at stimulating consumption, supporting production and business, and developing the domestic market for local products. Furthermore, the department continues to collaborate with different units to deploy solutions for guidance, training, and application of production technology and online sales skills. This initiative provides enterprises and production establishments the opportunity to learn from experiences, thereby enhancing their capabilities and securing stable markets for their products. |
