Early August 3, Thuan An town’s Association for Victims of Agent Orange (AO)/Dioxin was established in honor to the Day for Victims of Agent Orange in Vietnam” (August 10).

Early August 3, TDM city’s Labor Union held a conference to honor outstanding individuals in the movement of “Well working, creatively working” in the 2007 and 2012 period.

Ben Cat district’s Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization (HCMYPO) has set up the Doan Thi Lien scholarship fund under the movement of “Small plan”. Over the past two years, 40 scholarships were awarded to needy members.

*Since early this year, provincial Red Cross Societies at all levels have built 20 houses of compassion and upgraded 14 others for the poor with a total expense of nearly VND800mln. 

In the first half of the year, the number of traffic accidents in the province reduced by 0.54% compared to the corresponding period of last year. On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, Pham Thi Nu, Deputy General Director of Tan Hiep Phat (THP) Group has just visited and presented cash gifts worth VND40mln to policy beneficiary families in Thuan An town’s Vinh Phu ward (photo). 9 policy beneficiary families maintained by THP Group herein were also presented VND25mln.

Provincial Job Placement Center has just organized the 51st job transaction session in 2012, absorbing more than 1,800 laborers.
