A candle-lighting ceremony in tribute to heroes and martyrs on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs was organized at provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery on the evening of July 26. Attending the ceremony were Vietnamese heroic mothers; provincial Party Committee Permanent Deputy Secretary cum provincial People’s Council Chairman Vu Minh Sang; provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Huynh Van Nhi together with leaders of the province’s sectors and mass organizations.
More practical activities in tribute to martyrs and care for their relatives
*To mark the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, since early this year, Ben Cat district has built 22 gratitude houses worth more than VND2bln and upgraded 51 others with a total expense of more than VND1.5bln; donated 100 gifts worth VND1.5mln to the families of war invalids and martyrs…The district’s mass organizations, communes and township have also organized many activities in tribute to heroes and martyrs, including art performances, gift visits…
