Provincial Red Cross Society has further received funds to support victims of the Japan’s earthquake and tsunami from many collectives and individuals.

The Japanese government highly valued support from the government and people of Vietnam for the country’s victims of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, said the Japanese Foreign Ministry at a press release.

Living in a poor family, Lam Thi Say, a Khmer woman at Tan Minh hamlet, Minh Thanh commune, Dau Tieng district has learnt to rise up out of poverty and get rich legitimately. Thanks to their diligence, Say and her husband have so far made a well-off life from bare hands.
