The business community recognizes that enhanced cooperation is vital for success today. It serves as the driving force for businesses to proactively connect and collaborate, fostering development, improving competitiveness, and integrating deeply into the global market.

Tight connection
Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhat, Head of Inspection Board of Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA), stated that the enterprises within the association are actively working to connect and share market information to collectively overcome challenges. At the same time, BIFA is collaborating with relevant sectors to provide timely information on policies and drafts that directly impact the production and business activities of these enterprises.
Recently, BIFA partnered with Department of Forestry (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) to successfully organize a seminar aimed at discussing the draft “Circular on Regulations for Forest Product Management and Processing of Forest Products and Aquatic Products with Established Ownership Rights of the Entire People.” This event served as an important bridge between policy-making agencies and the wood industry business community. Through discussions, many practical opinions based on production and business practices were gathered, which will help refine the draft to make it clearer, more transparent, and more feasible. This initiative underscores BIFA's commitment to supporting its members and ensuring that the voices of businesses are heard by management agencies for the sustainable and effective development of the wood processing industry,” Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhat shared.
Dr. Ngo Minh Duc, President of Eastern International University (EIU), emphasized that to create high-quality human resources for Binh Duong and the Southern region in the context of Industry 4.0, EIU has been enhancing its teaching programs to align with international standards. These programs are based on the academic curricula of leading universities around the world and are closely tailored to meet the practical needs of both domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises. EIU maintains a strong connection with the business community, collaborating with nearly 300 businesses to support training, research, and development initiatives.
“With its ecosystem, the university has an advantage in organizing internships for students, collaborating on projects with businesses, facilitating scholarship sponsorships from companies, and hosting job fairs, consulting sessions, and talk shows to share experiences. These activities help students gain knowledge, improve practical skills, broaden their perspectives, and build a solid foundation of knowledge and experience during their studies,” said Dr. Ngo Minh Duc.
Clear direction
Associate Professor Dr. Le Tuan Anh, Chairman of the Council of Thu Dau Mot University, emphasized the importance of prioritizing significant investment in the development of high-quality human resources to advance the semiconductor industry, which aligns with the province's strategic vision. This initiative is not only crucial for keeping pace with global technological trends but also serves as a strategic move to establish a strong position in the semiconductor industry value chain.
At the end of May, the university collaborated with Cicor Vietnam Company Limited to outline a strategic partnership aimed at developing a specialized training program in semiconductor microchips. This field is experiencing high demand for skilled professionals both in Vietnam and worldwide. The university hopes that Cicor Vietnam will provide guidance and support in designing training programs that align closely with industry practices, thereby meeting the needs of international integration.
In recent years, Binh Duong Province has adopted policies to create an open investment environment, implementing various measures and solutions to improve the business climate, enhance competitiveness, and attract investment. The province is committed to providing favorable conditions for investors, ranging from large corporations to small and medium-sized enterprises. It regularly holds dialogues to understand and address challenges faced by businesses. Additionally, Binh Duong organizes annual delegations to Japan, Korea, Germany, and the United States to promote foreign investment and strengthen international cooperation.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Luat, General Director of Cicor Vietnam Co., Ltd., stated that supporting students and universities in the region is an integral part of the company’s sustainable development strategy. Cicor is ready to offer internships at its facilities, connect educational institutions with international universities in Germany and the US, and contribute to building a cohesive semiconductor technology community. Mr. Luat also expressed a willingness to participate in seminars and workshops with students to inspire them in their learning, research, and career paths as future engineers.
The business community hopes that relevant sectors will continue to foster a supportive environment for enterprises in production and business. This includes creating numerous opportunities for collaboration that contribute to mutual growth and development. A solid foundation for cooperation is deemed essential now and in the future, helping businesses support each other in production, sales, and market stability, thus maintaining employment and income for workers.
Industry associations have been actively implementing various measures to develop the domestic market, promote the flow of goods, and connect production with the market along the supply chain. Specifically, these associations are increasing support for businesses in the province to capitalize on market opportunities, stabilize operations, and restore sustainable export supply chains. They are also promoting the consumption of local agricultural products through both direct and online channels, participating in conferences and seminars focused on supply and demand, and using various platforms to enhance product visibility and connectivity in e-commerce. |
