On the morning of April 24, Road Traffic Police Team of the Provincial Traffic Police Department held a launching ceremony to implement a peak period to ensure traffic order and safety on the occasion of April 30 and May 1 holidays.

During this peak period, the Road Traffic Police Team mobilized personnel, vehicles, and technical expertise to implement measures that ensure traffic order and safety. Their aim is to control and reduce traffic accidents, particularly to prevent serious incidents, while also alleviating congestion in the province. Additionally, they are taking swift action to prevent and strictly address illegal gatherings, drag racing, and resistance against law enforcement officers. These efforts support the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification, and International Labor Day on May 1, allowing people to travel with peace of mind.

Major Phan Minh Thao, Deputy Head of the Provincial Police Traffic Police Department, said that in order to ensure traffic order and safety during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the Provincial Police Traffic Police force focused on controlling violations that are the direct cause of traffic accidents with the motto "no forbidden zones, no exceptions, no holidays" and determined that the security and safety of the people are "first and foremost".
