Taking advantaged of a riverside land, Luong Ngoc Van has successfully developed a tortoise farmstead at An Tay commune, Ben Cat district. By his ambition and trust in tortoise breeding model, Van has turned a inefficient land into a farmstead with an income of billions of VND per year.

Coastal Fisheries Development Corp. (Cofidec), a member of Saigon Trading Group (Satra), and U&I Agriculture Corp. (Unifarm) under U&I Investment Corp., on April 19, signed a cooperation agreement on cultivating and purchasing agricultural materials for export at the An Thai hi-tech agriculture area. The cooperation has showed an encouraging result of Unifarm’s hi-tech agriculture investment.

  One year ago, Cao Thi Tuong Vy, an accountancy officer of Sao Viet Company in Ba Ria – Vung Tau, which specializes in providing accountancy services to enterprises, had to go to the Vung Tau City Taxation Sub-department to submit finance reports. The work really took Vy and her colleagues much time. Sometimes, she had to spend two days to submit one report, because the taxation office was always overloaded.

 

Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Co. (JSC) has made efforts to ensure its  production-trading plan of 2012 since the first months of the year.

Nguyen Nhat Kim, director of T&T electronics Company in Song Than IP in Di An town said that businesses are facing many difficulties such economic recession, public debt crisis, inflation and so on. With the above objective reasons, businesses are forced to accept them and consider them as a risk in business. Meanwhile, problems of capital, interest rate… under macro-policy, local authorities have no measures to solve businesses’ difficulties.  

As of March 2012, the whole province had 960 farmsteads meeting criteria set out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), mostly in 4 northern districts of the province: Phu Giao, Ben Cat, Tan Uyen and Dau Tieng.

Over the past three years, Phu Giao district’s Farmers’Society disbursed more than VND67bln from many different sources for the local farmers to develop hombased business.

 

The enterprises hope to promote trade, seek partners, sign contracts and advertise Vietnamese seafood products in the European market.

This was one of the contents approved at the 12th conference of An Son communal Farmers’ Society for the 2012 and 2017 tenure, which has just been held.
