On the morning of April 20, Chanh My ward of Thu Dau Mot city organized the 2nd Folk Cake Festival - 2025. Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee, attended the event.
This is one of the activities to introduce and promote local images and traditional cultural features. This year's festival had the participation of more than 20 booths from 9 neighborhoods, schools, and local and foreign businesses. Dozens of traditional cakes and various drinks were displayed, introduced, and served to everyone who came to visit, shop, and enjoy.
Besides, there are also exciting folk games, such as: throwing con, jumping over bamboo poles, kicking shuttlecock, making clay figurines, writing calligraphy… have brought locals and tourists a joyful entertainment atmosphere and helped them experience more interesting traditional cultural features. At the festival, the festival organizing committee also awarded prizes for traditional cake booth decoration contest to the most beautiful booths.
