Vietnam has made impressive progress in reducing mortality rate of children under five over the past decades, according to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Province-based Taiwan Business Association has just visited and donated gifts to provincial Support Center for Orphans, Ben San Lepers’ Hospital, Long Buu pagoda and poor people in Thuan An town’s An Phu ward. The delegation also paid a gift visit to Linh Xuan Support Center for Children in HCM city’s Thu Duc district.

Provincial Youth Federation has just held a ceremony to hand over a house of compassion to Pham Hong Son, a needy youth in Phu Giao district’s Tan Long commune.

On Sept.13, Tan Uyen district’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) and Police Agency jointly held a ceremony to receive 10 tons of rice and 1,500 boxes of instant noodle from Kha Dieu Dan in HCM city’s district 8.

Joining hands to take care of young workers’ spiritual and material lives is a noble deed, expressing the local authorities’ attention to laborers.
