Last year, provincial mobile art troupe held 153 shows with scripts regarding the harmful effects of drugs, traffic safety…for workers, pupils and people in Thuan An and Di An towns, Tan Uyen, Phu Giao and Dau Tieng districts. These shows absorbed nearly 55,000 viewers, or 127.5% of the projection.

During the 2011 Tet festival, provincial mobile art troupe held 10 art performance shows for workers who could not return home for Tet in districts of Tan Uyen, Ben Cat and towns of TDM and Thuan An, luring more than 12,000 viewers.

So far, there have been 95% of workers resuming work after the Tet holiday, according to provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA).

By the afternoon of February 15, the team started working to help patching puncture of motorcycles for free. The activities will last for 3 days from 7:30 to 23:00 in a bid to fight against sharp objects spreaded out on the street by unscrupulous puncture repair men to exploit money from visitors to Binh Duong on this occasion. The activities are sponsored by Mr. Nguyen Tan Tai, a motorcycle repairman who is disturbed by wrong-doings.

Ben Cat district’s Farmers’ Society is now home to 14,540 members. Noticeably,  it has over time promoted implementation of the patriotic emulation movements, including the movements of “good production-business among farmers”, “farmers helping each other in economic development”, “the entire people consolidate to build cultured lifestyle in residential areas” in association with the “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” campaign. These movements have received strong response from the local farmers.
